Ode to Magritte, Enameled Brooch

The surrealist artist, Rene Magritte was once asked, "What is behind this piece?" He promptly responded, "Nothing, there's just a wall." He later went on to paint a picture of an easel holding a painting of a brick wall. Inspired by that story, I created this one of a kind brooch. Copper was enameled with a brick wall pattern and framed with wood recycled from an old broken frame. The back of the brooch has a little sterling silver plate engraved with one of my trademarks, "Puppymark Prints". It measures approximately 4 inches (10.1 cm) wide by 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall by 3/8 inches (1 cm) deep and is a bold, statement piece.
