Smiling Great White Shark 3, Framed Watercolor Painting

Part of my shark series inspired by Shark Week, this watercolor painting shows a great white shark smiling at the viewer from under the water.  Reflections of the water lines are patterned across the shark's back and the ocean background features a gradient of blues to draw the eye back to the shark.  It is matted with a white matteboard and framed.  The painting is approximately 11 1/4 inches (28.6 cm) wide by 8 1/2 inches (21.6 cm) tall.  (With the frame it is approximately 15 1/2 inches (39.4 cm) wide by 12 1/2 inches (31.8 cm) tall by 5/8 inches (1.6 cm) deep.)  There is a frame wire attached to the back of the piece for easy and secure hanging on a wall.

Featured in the ‘Out of the Blue’ online exhibit hosted by Cultural Center of Cape Cod and ‘Simply Watercolor’ show hosted by the Rhode Island Watercolor Society of Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
